Silberbauerovo hudební Podyjí

The main aim of the Czech-Austrian festival Silberbauer's Music Podyjí is to musically connect the Czech and Austrian border regions (the area around Znojmo, Podyjí and the Thayatal region in Austria). The festival commemorates the important Baroque organ builder Josef Silberbauer, who worked in the Podyjí/Thayatal region and contributes to the rediscovery of his name by the broader public on both sides of the border. The festival's aim is not only the performance on instruments by J. Silberbauer by musicians who will support and collaborate with artists from the region but also other musical ensembles such as orchestras, vocal ensembles and baroque chamber ensembles. The festival is unique in that it seeks to connect Czech artists with Austrian artists and also in that it seeks to bring them together across borders. It opens up the possibility of a wider diversity of audiences and the enrichment of the Czech and Austrian regions. The festival emphasizes the support and concerts of talented children from Czech and Austrian music schools, cooperating with experienced teachers. They will perform together in concerts both in Austria and in the Czech Republic.

Opus Organum and Ars Marchfeld have similar goals of bringing together artists from the region and their cooperation.
