On a Romantic Wave of Violin and Organ
A Concert of Violin and Organ

Saturday, 30. 8. 2025 at 18:00
Church of the Finding of the Holy Cross
Liberec (Czechia)

We invite you to a traditional concert by the Opus Organum association. The violin part will be performed by Dennis Schneiderka, concertmaster of the Janáček Theatre in Brno, accompanied on the organ by Kateřina Málková, director of the Silberbauer Music Festival in Podyjí. They are continuing their collaboration from previous years within the festival, which the Opus Organum association has been organising for the sixth year in South Moravia and Lower Austria.

The concert programme will feature romantic and poignant violin pieces by mainly French-German composers and solo virtuoso organ compositions that match the technical capabilities of the church organ. The combination of instruments is ideal thanks to the romantic organ and its range of stops, which allows for a perfect romantic harmony with the violin.
